Misserfolg

A still life painting I did yesterday of a mug, some brushes and a dice that I used when I played Magic: The Gathering back in the days. It turned out quite horrible and made me realize how much more I need to work on my still life paintings from now on. It was fucking hard to find the colours ;o; Buuut all I need is practice, practice and then some more practice.

A portrait I just finished today. I would've been happier with it if I didn't use a grid to get everything right lmao. Next time I do a portrait I'm going to do it without using a grid because I don't wanna be stuck using it all the time. Gotta push myself away from it c:
Next I need to do some kind of city concept but I cant seem to get any good ideas for it out of my head so I think I'll sketch a bunch of thumbnails of city concepts and so on. Ideas and suggestions are greatly appreciated <3

God damn it took me a while to finally get something done that's worth posting... I should probably start scanning some sketches I do as well but it's mostly just anatomy shit.
Anyways, here's a master study I've been working on and off for a few days now and I'm glad it's finally done so I can move on to the next thing. I only used the part of the ref where you can see the girl and the dress because doing the whole room would have taken me even longer and I'm not doing that >:U Besides, it was the dress that caught my eye and made me wanna paint it.

Weeelll today is my friend Joey's birthday so I drew her a picture. It's kinda half assed but I only had two days to do it since I noticed that it was her birthday then so I was all aaaaaaa rush rush draw. Anyways, you better like it woman and ilu. Have a happy birthday kid.
