More studies yay. God I'm getting sick of doing portraits now, I've done a few lately for my dad and for a friend. But I have to say I did kinda enjoy doing this one because I took my time and felt quite relaxed while doing it. So that's good at least. Gotta try some landscape paintings next or possibly master studies if I can find something good enough.
I have been drawing personal drawings as well but I've just started on a bunch and I haven't finished any of them sadly. I will try to finish one or two of them though.

Back once again

Hah god I suck at updating this. I've been kinda slow again but I do draw. I've been doing a couple of photoshop portraits for my dad and one for my friend. I'm not posting those so I didn't really have anything good to post but I guess I'll post some sketches... and this one still life painting I did like last month but forgot to post.
I'm just messing around with my style here.

On an other note, I'm in a bit of a Scott Pilgrim craze at the moment. Got 5 of the books and the 6th one is supposed to be released in July or something. But I have no idea when I'll be able to get it over here. Hopefully it'll be before the movie is released.

Arms en bene

Wow, once again I've been slow with the bloging. But this time it was mostly my social life's fault because I was being a lot more social last week than usual. I hung out with a new friend of mine, the one that I did the art trade for in the previous post, and I went on a BBQ with some other friends. But now it's time to go back to my old anti-social self <3
And that means more studies. Here's one of my graduation hat in natural light. The light from the lamp gets kinda ugly and yellow and I don't like it that much.
And down there we can see a couple of anatomy studies of shoulders/arms and legs

Art trade - Irith

Finally some art eh? It's about time. I started on this one about two weeks ago I believe. Or three, I don't really remember. But it took me longer to finish because I was working on other things as well and I spent one week at my grandmas without my precious photoshop.
Anyways, this is an art trade with my pin-up pal, Hannah (she's not that active on DA though). It's her character Irith. And I must say, it was pretty fun to do those tattoos. I also thought I'd practice a little on getting the shadows and light source on the right places on her because I tend to suck at that... but the colouring is a bit lazy, the fingers got messed up and her pelvis/crotch got a bit awkward looking to me but I dunno. I still enjoyed drawing it though so enjoy c:

Oh and yeah, I textured the fuck out of the walls. So sue me >:c

Pilgrim and Germans

Sorry I've been gone for a while. I've had to lend out my room for a week so I had to spend my time at my grandmas apartment with a computer that doesn't have photoshop or a working MSN.
Basically, my brother is reading German in school and for this class they get visitors. Some students from Germany. And they get to live at their place but it got a bit messed up so to make a... not so long story a bit shorter, we ended up having two Germans sleeping at our place so I had to give up my room. BUT I got two Scott Pilgrim books. I ordered three of them but they were out of stock on the Vol. 2 ones so I have to wait for it before I can start reading Vol. 3 >:C

There, more studies. I got pretty happy with the photo study of the boy. At least from the waist up. The rest was a bit lazily done lmao. And I'm not going to post that study on DA because the original photoref was taken on DA so I'll just leave it here and on Conceptart.org for now c:

Ok so we went to this travelling carnival, did not go on any rides because it's crazy expensive, watched the bonfire, tried to win some chocolate, failed, watched the fireworks, went home to a friend, drank a little, went home, slept. That was last night in a nutshell I guess c: Nothing too special but I guess it was fun to come out and hang with people a bit. Too bad almost everyone we called were either away or didn't answer their phones >:
