School girl of tomorrow

Finished it after ages of just working on it on and off. The colours look a lot brighter here on my laptop though so that's a bummer. But it'll have to do. At least I learned to stay focused on a larger piece for a longer time.
Next I'll try to get started on a little project of my own. Nothing big, just a series of paintings that are linked together. And I will have a character of mine called Mist as the sort of.. main character. It's not a comic, just a bunch of paintings that sort of shows some kind of story if you can call it a story.

2 Months and counting

A little WIP picture of something I started on photoshop. It's not finished if you thought that. I think it's pretty far from done. Or at it'll at least take some time to finish.

Anyways, yesterday me and my girlfriend have been together for 2 months (HAPPY WITH THAT NOW JENNA? >8C) and it didn't feel like I could do much for her then. I guess 2 months doesn't sound like a big deal for those reading or hearing about it but it feels great to the two people in the relationship and that's really the only thing I care about. So yeah. Happy two months of dating me, dear. Love you <3

There, I finished it now. Kinda lost interest in it towards the end but I'm still quite happy with it. Though I still got a lot of work when it comes to colours and light... and a loooot more.

I've just started college, as I hope I mentioned before, so hopefully I'll be able to post some work that I do there. There's not much going on now since I gotta read this boring communication through writing and speaking class that's mandatory. But at least I get to read 2D graphics as well so it cancels out the boringness in the communication class.

Sorry I made you worry yesterday, dear. I finished this pic for you a bit quick this morning as some kind of lame apology. It's all I can do from here haha.

But yeah, trying hard to draw a lot every day. And it's not that hard really since that's pretty much all I can do here. So why not make the best of my time instead of wasting it on doing nothing all day. Got some sketches that I might try and get scanned soon when I can be bothered c:

Well there we go, a study (portrait of my girl friend) and a WIP drawing that didn't really start out serious but turned in to this. We'll see how far ill be bothered to go with it. Oh and the ref to the portrait had an annoying light so it was really hard to get it right.. so it looks kinda plastic-y?
I feel more productive now than I've been in over 2 months now and I'm guessing it's because of college. Lets see if it'll be fun here or not... the first course we're going to read doesn't seem that fun but the rest sounds like a blast.

I could just blame on the fact that I was trying out a new brush setting in a newer version of photoshop than what I'm used to but that's a lame excuse. I'll just have to improve and that's that c:

I'm so sorry for the lack of updates here. Kinda been busy socially (and kinda lazy but never mind that). I have been drawing though, I just haven't posted anything. Mostly sketches and studies but I've started on one or two proper drawings.
I want to post a lot more but I might be gone for a few days next week and at the end of the month I will be going to college. So we'll see how much I'll be posting... then again, I'll be drawing a crap load of studies at the college seeing as I'll probably have to do conceptart drawings and such so I can always post those <3
