"Of course it's accepted on behalf of young women, like my daughters, who hope men who 'joke' about public displays of sexual exploitation of girls will soon evolve."
"Letterman certainly has the right to 'joke' about whatever he wants to, and thankfully we have the right to express our reaction. This is all thanks to our U.S. Military women and men putting their lives on the line for us to secure America's Right to Free Speech - in this case, may that right be used to promote equality and respect."Okay so if she say that he has the right to joke about this she shouldn't fucking whine about it in public. Just suck it up and get over it. It was a joke.
And where the hell did the whole U.S. Military shit come from?! They are NOT the only people doing anything for the U.S.As freedom of speech. The people that are doing something for the freedom of speech is pretty much anyone who believes in it and not only the U.S. military who's fucking miles away in a different country, fighting a war they had nothing to do with to begin with. Ok, I don't know much about politics so I probably should not say that but whatever.
And you don't need to use that right to promote equality and respect only. You can do it to promote whatever the fuck you want. That's kinda the whole point with freedom of speech.
Also, I heard these jokes that he made. He didn't really mention rape in the joke. Only that it would be hard to keep this guy away from her daughter and that some other guy knocked her up. He never said that they raped or wanted to rape her :/
And the joke about Sarah Pailins looks was just funny and Letterman is most likely not the first one to joke about that so that was just stupid to get this upset over. Just learn to take a joke about yourself or you'll make this world even more miserable than it already is for many.
