Lys og mørke

Aaa I couldn't sleep so Jenna made me draw. So I sketched this thing up and did the line-art and some colouring. Then I finished it off today so here you go! A "quick" drawing of my character Abi Gail... again 8D

Pszczoła

Okay so here's yet another WIP picture of that Queen Bee girl I originally made for Jenna to colour. I'm just experimenting the hell out of her when I colour because I need the practice. But it takes sooo much longer to finish it lmao. I recoloured the skin a crap load of times already and I probably will keep fixing it up.. but I wanna start colouring the little clothing she's got already and the eye/mouth.

Today I saw a fairly ugly guy surrounded by a group of attractive girls. I was confused and went closer to try to figure out why. He had a British accent. I now understand. - MLIA

Yeah so I don't have anything new that's good enough to post just yet so I'm just going to post a neat little gurren lagann parallel works video. So yea enjoy 8D
Also I'm leaving for New Zealand in two weeks. Yay Christmas in the sun c:

Today, I found an old worksheet from 1st grade. One of the questions was "What color do you think dinosaurs were?" I answered "Black and white because color wasn't invented yet." I always knew I was a genius. - MLIA

Internet has been a douche for me now so I can't really get on very often. Its something with our new router >:U
I managed to get on now so I thought I'd just post a little drawing I did the other day. It started with a small doodle in my sketchbook and then I did a larger version that covered an A4 paper. I traced it on another piece of paper and tried to colour it with watercolours but that didn't go well at all so that one went down the bin lmao.

Blár

My fail attempt at watercolours.
I found some old watercolours at my dads the other day as we were moving some stuff out of the room so I brought them here (my mum) and tried them out. Didn't go too well but its okay. The paper really wasn't made for water colouring though because it got all wrinkled up and pieces started coming off of it so yeah I'm trying normal print paper next time.

Sci-fi bokhandeln

Went to Stockholm the other day to look for a Christmas gift for Jenna when I happened to find some stuff for myself as well. A pretty cheap Dead Leaves DVD (for about £5) and a Watchmen graphic novel <3 It's like Christmas for me! .. except I have to pay for it myself lmao.
I'm also trying to do more sketching now that I got my own scanner.

I haven't posted anything here in forever and I'm sorry for that. But hopefully I'm back now and I'll try to start posting more stuff again c:
I also came back from a trip to England not too long ago and that was simply amazing. Can't wait to do it again. ANYWAY I'll post a WIP picture here that I started on not too long ago. I did a line art for my friend Jenna a while ago that she's going to colour but I wanted to colour something too so I'm giving it a shot as well c:

Another little painting I did of some random thing that I doodled down in my sketchbook before. I redrew it and coloured it in Photoshop. I tried to do a character that could be used as an enemy for a platformer game or something like that so I took some inspiration from those kinds of games lmao.

Facies

Tried to practice a little but it turned out all fucked up fffff especially things like her right eye. But I'm slowly getting there c:
Next time I do a portrait I think I'll try to paint an older man with a beard because those always feel a bit easier so I guess that's a good place to start and then work my way up to harder things... and maybe actually use colours lmao

Sorry I haven't posted anything here in quite a while but I've had an art-block and sometimes I've been out with friends and stuff. But I've started doodling and sketching again now and today I managed to throw this photoshop painting together. Got the idea from Jenna when she said "DRAW A PRETTY FLOWA" on MSN yesterday... so I did 8D I drew some random lotus flower I found on google. It's pretty rough but it works for now lmao

London

Well today I booked a flight to London in October and I cut my hair so now I look like a lesbian lmao. Anyway, if everything goes well I'll be off to London on Oct 23rd to see some friends (Jenna, Rachel, Micha and hopefully Gifty too) and go to the London MCM expo with them and then maybe cheat at an art contest because we're bad ass like that.
The annoying part about this are my parents. They are totally sucking the fun out of it and keeps saying "OH it will be expensive", "Can you afford it? You gotta buy food every day", "Are you sure these people are trust worthy enough?" >:C Bah, let me be young and impulsive and do my own mistakes.. even tho this isn't a mistake.... unless I somehow get stuck alone at the airport until I get arrested as a terrorist suspect or something lmao.
Oh well I'm sure it'll all turn out well in the end c:

About time I got around to finish this. This character had so much black in it so the only part where I had a bit fun with colours were the eye and the ears lmao. But it came out decent anyway c:
I made this for my friend Colleen so hopefully she'll like this ffff.

A lineart I did today for Jenna to colour because I told her to force me to do art... so she did <3 LIKE A TRUE FRIEND.
Anyway, yeah it's not my usual style I guess but it was still fun to do and for once I was actually somewhat patient when I did the lines instead of just rushing through like I usually do :U

Practiced some driving with dad again and we went pretty far.. again. Because dad had some translator job to do that took him two hours so I had to amuse myself somehow. Luckily I brought my camera and sketchbook like always so two hours went by pretty fast. But I had to pee so I went out in the woods and did it. Then I noticed a nice spot that might look good on a photo... it didn't :C
But then I found a little spider that I tried to take a picture of... and then I found a little bigger one.. and then I almost walked in to this huge ones web. I freaked out a bit and then took a few pics of it as well c:

It's a WIP lineart of the sketch I posted earlier. This is Audio, a character that belongs to my friend Colleen. I owe her tons of pictures after all the stuff she's drawn for me but I can't keep up with her so I'll try to make this one extra nice....try. Colouring will be a bitch since there's so much black in this ffff.

Saw The Iron Giant for the first time today and my god was it great <33 (Just thought the title would fit to that film a bit lmao)
I can not believe I never watched it before what the hell have I been thinking. I didn't think of the movie again until my friend Genesis and some of her friends mentioned it on a Skype call a few weeks back and they shunned me 'cause I hadn't seen it... so I did. And it was about time. The animation was superb <3 So yeah if you haven't seen this one yet go do it.... like now.

Well I finally got around to finish this old piece. It's an art-trade I did with HalfpintEdward from Sheezyart (also on Deviantart). Not too happy with the colouring cause I think it got a bit blurry, lacked details and the shading was weak. But hey, I'm still learning c:
Anyways, enjoy the piece <3

Hah dad said that we're taking Saturday and Sunday off from driving so I'm freeee from that for two days. So I spent the morning talking to Genesis on MSN and Skype. After that I tried to make some Polish Pierogis but the dough got a bit too thick and crap but it was still good enough to eat lmao. Then I just went lazy in front of the TV and drew these doodles.. got inspiration to draw the girl while watching 'Hotel Rwanda'(Its a good movie too) and the Zeppelin idea came from some experiment that they did on Mythbusters where they burned miniature Hindenburgs lmao.

I'm sorry for the lack of updates once again but the driving takes up a lot of time and I'm currently in an artblock so I'm trying to get out of that one. I'm doing that by doodling random crap and practicing some anatomy and posing as you can see in the picture. I'm also trying to give my characters faces more personality when they express themselves 'cause otherwise they look odd and dead lmao.

On an other note, I actually got around to apply for a job. It's at LIDL so it isn't the greatest but I don't care as long as I get a job close to home. Hopefully I'll get it c:

Urgh I'm sorry for the lack of posts but lately I've really not been in the mood and I haven't had the strength/time to do stuff because of dad and him dragging me out to drive all the fucking time. I guess it's good that I get this over with though but I'm not enjoying it.. I cant wait to see how I fail at using a manual car D:

And I've also recently gotten quite addicted to the game Restaurant City on facebook urgh. So THAT is kind of taking some of my time as well xD

I hate driving so much. Stupid cars >:c And now I'm just using an automatic car... just imagine how pissed off I'll be at the manual ones. Today I was dad's chauffeur and drove him to two jobs of his. First to Solna where I had to wait for an hour for him to be finished and then Kista where I at least was able to eat some food and look around on games, pencils, markers and stuff while I waited for him this time. And I actually bought some coloured pencils and markers just to get at least a bit traditional colouring practice. AND I also saw a really cheap scanner/printer/copymachine thingie that I wanted but I wasn't going to buy it there and then drag it around while I waited for that so I'll just check for it some other time instead.

Also, Jenna got home from China today where she had a lovely time with the hazardsuit people and quaranteen rooms that she got locked in to due to the fear of Swine fluuu. And she'll be sending me a panda plush <3

Diversus

Last night I went over to some friends place again to watch a film. We were nice enough to let the girls pick out the film even though most of the guys (Patrik and Micke) wanted to watch the newest X-men movie. The girls picked a film called "Hard Candy"... and do we regret watching it hahah. I mean sure, I'll give it points for originality and skipping out on a feel-good happy ending like most movies got but seriously, I had a "wtf" feeling through out the whole movie. And I guess some scenes were well thought through but it was connecting all the scenes and make it make sense that seemed to be the problem here. Ah well, I guess we'll be watching X-men next time then haha.

Today my dad took me out to practice some driving and the first thing I did was to fail lmao. I started driving forward a bit and he went "Put the blinkers on" and I did... I thought. I pushed the wrong thing and the wind shield wipers went off and water shot out on the window and god did I freak out cause I saw nothing lmao. It went better after a while and even got to drive on a road that went 90km/h for a moment. But I need more practice.

Album

Ok so I'm talking to my Northern Irish friend, Rachel, and we started talking about places that would be nice to go to. Then she thought of the idea to write down her list that she had in her head in her notebook that she uses for all kinds of things. So I thought I could put down a couple of places that I'd like to go to and I'll try to write down reasons to why I want to go to every place as well.
And it's not in any real order, I'm just writing them down at random.

USA - Mostly east U.S. Because I got a lot of friends in that area and I'd love to visit them all some day. And the people in America is quite friendly from what I saw when I was there. Such a difference from Sweden where people seem to be afraid of each other lmao.

Japan - Because I'm an anime geek... ok not really. I've loved the idea of going to Japan long before I found anime and manga. It just seems like a really interesting place to check out. It's really different from the usual places I go to.

England - Like with USA, because I know some people there that I'd like to meet. I've also caught an interest for the UK for some reason recently. I'm watching British shows and what not.

Russia - Because it seems interesting and I'm a bit of a tourist fag so I want to visit Saint Basil's Cathedral in Moscow.

Egypt - Again, it seems interesting and I'm a tourist fag. I wanna see Giza and some other places.

New Zealand - Because I've never been below the equator and I have relatives there that I've never met before and it'd be a chance to get to know them since I barely actually know anyone in my family except for Mum, Dad, my brother and my Uncle.

India - I seem to have some family there as well but it seems like a good place to get inspired by. And I'm, as I said, I'm a tourist fag.

Italy/Vatican - My tourist fag side pops up again. I really want to see the St. Peter's Basilica and the Colosseum. And if I can, the leaning tower of Pisa. And Venice seems to be an amazing place as well.

Hm that's all I can think of right now. Too tired to think of more haha.

Here's something that popped up in my head last night as a good example on stuff that I could use to practice some colouring. And I really do love how the colours came out on this practice piece but I'm not that happy with how the face turned out lmao. But it was mostly for colouring this time so it's not that big of a deal c:

Meditatio

Okay so lately I've been almost isolating myself just to draw and draw. I've had this sudden rush of inspiration and I've doodled several pages with stuff. But it also made me realize that I still don't feel like a real artist. I don't feel like I'm expressing anything through art and I don't feel like I got that little extra thing that makes a picture look good and expressive that every good artist seem to have. I feel like I'm just out of reach to get to that point but it's so hard to find that little extra something that takes my art to the next level.
I also don't feel like I'm creative either. Because all I seem to draw is random characters and most of them are pretty sub-par and have a pretty common look. Nothing I draw is expressive, artistic and creative on the level of a great artist.
Now I know this just sounds like I'm whining about my skills... but I don't mean to. I just needed to get it off of my mind. Because I do know how I'm going to get all these things that I want... through practice. And then some more practice. And then a lot more practice. And I also need to learn how to let the pictures come to me on their own instead of trying to force the pictures out. Which also takes a lot of practice and, as Jenna sometimes says, trial and error.
I think I do know what I need to learn more properly before I get there though. Colouring! I am so impatient when it comes to that so I'm far from as good as I could have been at it. And I need it to fully finish most pictures.

Aaaand now it feels like this text is a whole mess so I'll just stop now lmao. I'm going to go back to my practicing and I will keep doing it like a fucking animal.. because I love it c:

Another work in progress drawing of mine that I did while I was working on my sketch dump that I'm going to finish soon I hope. And I have noticed a couple of errors in this line art already. Like her legs and her chest. But that's why God invented the eraser and Ctrl + Z <3>

Well today I went to fly in a glider and I got to do it for free because my mum's friend is a pilot and works with this stuff. So this was like a graduation gift from him to me. It was pretty neat to fly in one and I got to wear a parachute that almost crushed my crotch. But it was fine as long as I was sitting down. I flew in it for about 30 min and towards the end I felt kinda sick... they had barf bags (or whatever it's called) just in case but thank god I didn't have to use one <3>

Yeah today I did basically nothing except for drawing and browsing. And every now and then I'd get a text message and THAT happened. Every time. And it wasn't always the phone, once a cat ran in to our apartment and scared the shit out of me. Sometimes it only takes a piece of paper falling down from my desk to scare me when I'm in my room because I seem to be lost in my own little world and sometimes the littlest sounds can make me snap out of it. Also, I just got back from the gym and is currently waiting for my brother to gtfo from the shower so I can use it >:U

I don't think I've ever been this bored oh god. I haven't done shit today and I haven't felt like doing anything either. I've been going through the same website a billion times over and over again just to see if there might be some new updates there every single time. It got fun for a while when I talked to some friends online but they are either tired, busy or away right now so I'm bored once again. Even this blog post is boring. It's just me complaining about being bored! How boring isn't that <3

Sorry I haven't been that active in a few days but nothing has really happened. I've just been doing the usual... drawing and hanging out with friends. So here you go. A preview c:

Not been up to much today. I did some drawing and I wrote out a to do list.

- Art trade with Halfpintedward
- Hadriel logo
- Art request for Katie
- Art request for Joey
- Learn HTML
- Animate the short Professor Layton animation for Jenna
- Voice acting for a Fish vs Sword project that a guy on Sheezyart is doing.

So today I tried to do a couple of examples for the Hadriel logo. Hadriel is my friends band btw c:
And yeah, the friend that requested it told me to do something that looked kinda post-apocalyptic but I had no idea how I would do that so I just played around and got these things:

So today I went to see the new Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie with some friends of mine. And I honestly didn't focus that much on the actual story because I just got amazed but the awesome and epic fights and work on the robots in the movie. The choreography for their fights was sooo much better this time. And despite the fact that they killed off one of my favourites, Jazz, in the first movie, they still managed to make it good. They also had a couple of kick ass twin autobots that replaced Jazz <3

Excessum

Well this week didn't start off too well. On Tuesday my mum came in to my room around noon and told me that my grandfather had died from heart failure that morning. I didn't know him that well due to a language barrier since he lived in Poland, but I still grew up with the man. Oddly enough I didn't take it as bad as I thought I would when someone died. I was mostly just worried of my mum and how she was taking it. I also realized that both his kids were away when he died. My mum lives here and my uncle was visiting here because of my graduation. Anyways, R.I.P gramps.

Plumbeus

Okay so it seems like the Alaska governor, Sarah Pailin, got quite offended by some jokes made by David Letterman on his show. It was mostly jokes about her daughters and they were sexual jokes too. So here's some quotes I took from Fox News website:

"Of course it's accepted on behalf of young women, like my daughters, who hope men who 'joke' about public displays of sexual exploitation of girls will soon evolve."

"Letterman certainly has the right to 'joke' about whatever he wants to, and thankfully we have the right to express our reaction. This is all thanks to our U.S. Military women and men putting their lives on the line for us to secure America's Right to Free Speech - in this case, may that right be used to promote equality and respect."

Okay so if she say that he has the right to joke about this she shouldn't fucking whine about it in public. Just suck it up and get over it. It was a joke.
And where the hell did the whole U.S. Military shit come from?! They are NOT the only people doing anything for the U.S.As freedom of speech. The people that are doing something for the freedom of speech is pretty much anyone who believes in it and not only the U.S. military who's fucking miles away in a different country, fighting a war they had nothing to do with to begin with. Ok, I don't know much about politics so I probably should not say that but whatever.
And you don't need to use that right to promote equality and respect only. You can do it to promote whatever the fuck you want. That's kinda the whole point with freedom of speech.

Also, I heard these jokes that he made. He didn't really mention rape in the joke. Only that it would be hard to keep this guy away from her daughter and that some other guy knocked her up. He never said that they raped or wanted to rape her :/
And the joke about Sarah Pailins looks was just funny and Letterman is most likely not the first one to joke about that so that was just stupid to get this upset over. Just learn to take a joke about yourself or you'll make this world even more miserable than it already is for many.

Opus operis

Finished another picture today. It's of an old character that I did once like a year ago. I was not planing on making it a real character of mine but she's kinda grew on to me and now I really like her. Might make a race of people that looks similar to her if I ever get around to write a story and animate it. Only time will tell how that will go.
And now that this picture is done I got a bunch of other things to do as well urgh. There's an art trade that I started with Halfpintedward on SheezyArt, a logo for my friends band, and two requests from friends. And I'm always so slow when it comes to drawing so it'll probably take me forever to do these c:

Professio

Well first of all I just want to post a link that my friend Keoki sent me just now. It's amazing how hypocritical and dumb people can be. I'll copypaste from the website:

"Performance commissioned by Kalmar Museum of Art, Sweden. During the inauguration of the new art museum in Kalmar a suspicious individual sneaked around the premises mounting sculptures made of carrots, alarm clocks, red and blue cables, metal wire and tape. On direct orders from the Swedish secret police the performance was stopped since the Culture Minister refused to give her inaugural speech if it were to continue. The speech , as it later turned out, was about how art must be allowed to be free and provocative."

Silly politicians. Ah well. Today I did some more doodling so I think I'll post one of them that I'm sort of happy with but it could've been better. Like a lot of things actually c:

Ludus

Well today I finished playing Half-Life 2. Am I slow? Nooo I'm not... ok maybe a little slow. But I haven't been that in to gaming so I'm a bit late when it comes to some games ok >:C
It was a really neat game and fun as hell to play. Even if I shat myself from time to time 'cause of those fuckers that ran at you fast as hell. The last fight was a bit easy though. I mean sure, I died a few times but most of them were because I fail epicly sometimes and fell down some platforms and died.
Oh and one of my favourite moments were when some random rebels said 'Look it's Gordon Freeman. Lets join him!" and a few seconds later a grenade flew towards us and blew the whole group up except for me because the great Gordon Freeman is smart enough to back away from an incoming grenade c:

Also, I might end posts with quotes that I like now as well.

Renatus

(When I'm doing longer posts I might add a TL;DR version on top of it in case people get lazy or aren't interested enough to read the whole thing)

TL;DR version:I made a new blog again for several reasons. I just graduated and taking a year off before going to college which means that I'm out of job and looking for one. I'm also using this year to do several things like improving my drawing and such.

Once again I've made a blog. Seriously, I'm changing blogs more often than people change socks now but I get bored so easily with these. Yet I keep doing them. Oh well!
This time I made a blog for the same reasons as first time but with one exception. One reason is that I want a place where I can rant and/or just write stuff down. The second reason is that I can post some art and maybe smaller sketches here as well (in case someone stumbles across this blog). Finally, the third reason, and also the exception I mentioned, is to improve my English. I mean sure, I probably improved it without thinking of it the last times I did a blog were I typed in English as well but now I'm going to try to be more aware of it and try harder to increase my vocabulary and so forth. I'm still going to use internet words and such and I fail at using punctuations and commas too so I wont think too much of that. I don't think anyone could care less about that on the internet lmao.
Also, I don't know shit about Latin so I am using online translators. So don't blame me if the titles are wrong >:C

Anyways, I'll just sum up quickly what's going on around me at the moment. I just graduated, I'm taking a year off to improve my drawing before going to college if I get accepted, I'm kinda being forced to take my drivers license, I'm currently looking for a job (good God it's hard to find one) aaand I've become sort of obsessed with British TV shows recently <3
